Since the very beginning radio has been the center of health controversy. Recently, cell phone usage came under scrutiny with studies showing that heavy phone activity, using the signal emitting device right next to your head, had a higher incidence of brain tumors.
Arguments came out against this “neurotic” fear and, given the current climate of personal communications, any evidence contrary to such negative studies of our sacred phalangeal extensions became widely accepted regardless of credibility. Imagine no more LOL! My BFF would be ROF.
Smart phone and BlueTooth saved the day. But that was then. This is now.
A new study to soon be published is showing that WiFi kills trees! Just as broadband spreads across this isolated land of ours to bring us together finally, along comes another one of those squint-eyed scientists with their mumbo-jumbo rep0rts showing another one of our naturally endow rights is to be taken away. We should probably revert to soup cans and string for communications.
Pumping the air full of electromagnetic waves can’t be harmful to trees. How can anything you can’t even see kill those big lumbering objects that cars can’t even plow down when we try to after a few beers. How can the good ole mighty Oak be injured let alone be taken out by a some unseen signal?
Who needs trees anyway?
And as for those brain tumors, a little fashion change and were good to go.
